Now trim the excess width off of the insulation blanket so it will fit with a "butted" joint.

Trim extra insulation blanket with a razor knife

After trimming the excess width you will now have to trim out were your heating element panel doors are. The element access doors are not insulated over top of because this may cause overheating of the wires connecting to the elements. Also in the manual it warns not to cover these panels for maintenance.
